What areas does Fredo Productions serve?

We are based in Pittsburgh, PA and proudly serve all of Western Pennsylvania including Cranberry Township, Wexford, Sewickley, Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, Fox Chapel, Monroeville, Greensburg, Washington PA, and Butler County. We also serve Detroit, MI; Cleveland, OH; and select destinations nationwide.

How long has Fredo Productions been in business?

Fredo Productions has been creating unforgettable events since August 2003. With over over 22 years of experience, we've entertained at hundreds of weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across the country.

What types of events do you provide entertainment for?

We provide entertainment for weddings, corporate events (conferences, galas, holiday parties, product launches), private celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, reunions), charity fundraisers, and cultural events including communions and bar/bat mitzvahs. We tailor every experience to the specific event type and audience.

Do you travel for destination events?

Yes. We offer destination entertainment services and have performed at venues across the country and internationally including New York, Dallas, Detroit, Florida, Nassau in the Bahamas, and Lisbon, Portugal. Contact us to discuss travel arrangements for your event location.

How far in advance should I book my wedding or event?

We recommend booking as soon as you've secured your venue. Popular dates book months in advance, especially during peak wedding season (May through October). That said, we occasionally have availability on shorter notice, so it never hurts to reach out.

What is included in your wedding DJ services?

Our wedding DJ services include a personalized consultation and planning session, custom playlist creation, professional MC announcements throughout the evening, state-of-the-art sound equipment with wireless microphones for toasts, seamless coordination with your photographer, planner, and venue, professional attire, and backup equipment on-site for peace of mind.

Can you provide ceremony music as well as reception entertainment?

Absolutely. We handle music for your entire wedding day from pre-ceremony ambiance and processional music to cocktail hour background sets and high-energy reception entertainment. We can coordinate with live musicians for a blended ceremony experience and transition seamlessly into the reception.

What photo experiences do you offer?

We offer three photo experiences: a selfie station with professional lighting and instant digital sharing, a classic enclosed photo booth with unlimited prints and custom templates, and a 360 video booth that captures slow-motion video from every angle. All options include custom backdrops, props, and a digital gallery.

What is the difference between a selfie station and a 360 video booth?

A selfie station is an open-air setup with a ring light and HD camera where guests take traditional photos with instant digital sharing. The 360 video booth captures slow-motion video of guests from all angles using a rotating camera arm, creating shareable video content that's perfect for social media. Many clients book both for maximum guest engagement.

What lighting options do you offer for events?

We offer custom color uplighting along walls and columns, monogram and logo projection onto dance floors or walls, intelligent moving spotlights for grand entrances and first dances, pin spots for centerpieces, ambient wash lighting, and gobo pattern projection. We also provide cold spark fountains and low-lying fog machines for added dramatic effect.

Do you offer live musicians like violinists or saxophonists?

Yes. We offer solo violin, saxophone, and piano performances, duets such as violin and piano or violin and saxophone, string and jazz trios, and full string and brass quartets. Our musicians specialize in ceremony and cocktail hour music and can seamlessly transition with our DJ services for a dynamic reception.

Can I combine live musicians with a DJ?

Yes. This is one of our most popular combinations. Many clients choose live musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour followed by a DJ for the reception. We also offer hybrid setups where musicians perform alongside the DJ during key moments such as the grand entrance or first dance.

Do you offer karaoke, trivia, or lawn games?

Yes. We offer professional karaoke with a host and thousands of songs, custom trivia and game show nights with buzzer systems, giant lawn games including Jenga and Connect 4, LED cornhole tournaments, bocce, and more. We also provide hype performers, models, and street-style entertainers for activations.

Can you provide AV equipment for corporate events?

Yes. We rent professional sound systems, wireless microphones (Shure and Sennheiser), projectors and screens, LED video walls, presentation switchers, confidence monitors, stage risers, and podiums. We offer equipment-only delivery, manned operation with a dedicated technician, or full production with a multi-technician crew.

Do you offer event planning and coordination services?

Yes. Our event production team offers three tiers: a design consultation for expert advice on venue layout and entertainment strategy, partial planning with vendor coordination and day-of execution, and full production from venue selection and vendor sourcing to design and flawless execution.

How do I get a quote for my event?

You can request a quote through our contact page. We'll ask about the type of event, date, venue, and services you're interested in. All consultations are free with no pressure or obligation. You can also call us at (412) 353-9333.

How quickly will you respond to my inquiry?

We respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, often much sooner. If you haven't heard from us within a day, please check your spam folder or give us a call directly.

What is the client planning portal?

Our client portal is an online planning tool where you can build your playlist, set your timeline, coordinate lighting cues, plan special moments like the first dance and grand entrance, and communicate directly with your entertainment team throughout the planning process.

Do I need to have a venue booked before contacting you?

Not at all. We're happy to help at any stage of your planning. If you're still searching for a venue, we can offer recommendations based on your vision, guest count, and budget. Our team has experience at over 100 venues across the Pittsburgh region.
